Working from home is currently at the forefront of everyone's mind and remote working can be a big adjustment to normal, everday life. The Boston Roamer Solution range is here to make it that bit easier with the help of Teradici technology and NVIDIA GRID Software.
Allow users to extend the tether of the machine of their choice to their desktop - worldwide.
SECURE YOUR DATA
Data is transferred in the form of pixels, so no business information ever leaves your cloud or data center
Deliver a high performance user experience for users using even the most graphics-intensive applications.
SHARED GPU RESOURCE
GPU passthrough allows a GPU to be passed to a desktop in it's entirety.
Designed for professional 3D accelerated workloads, the Boston Roamer 1200-0 is an ultra-high-end dual processor solution, leveraging NVIDIA GRID GPU virtualisation, that combines a classic 2U rack-mount chassis design with a huge amount of compute and graphics horse power to satisfy the demands of the most advanced workstation professionals.
The Boston Roamer 1101-0 provides an excellent balance of computing performance, server density and AMD MxGPU remote workstation support to your IT infrastructure - all in 1U rack mount form factor. This perfectly engineered system houses two Intel® Xeon® processors, 64GB of DDR4 memory, 64GB SATA DOM, 8TB of storage space, dual port 10GbE RJ-45 and dual AMD FirePro S7150 to enable your VDI seats with the professional graphics features they need.

The Boston Roamer 1101-10TP takes advantage of Teradici PCoIP™ technology, allowing users to extend the tether of the machine of their choice to their desktop - worldwide. The Roamer 1101-10TP features the latest Intel® Xeon® W processor with up to 18 cores / 36 threads and up to 256GB of DDR4 memory and an NVIDIA RTX™ 4000 GPU, all in a short-depth form factor.
Teradici’s PC-over-IP (PCoIP) technology delivers a secure, high-definition and highly responsive computing experience over TCP/IP. Using advanced display compression techniques to provide end users with remote access to virtual machines as a convenient alternative to deploying workstations to employees desks. From a user's perspective, there is no difference between working with a local computer loaded with software and an endpoint receiving a streamed pixel representation from a centralized virtual computer without the bulky and potentially noisy unit at the desk side.
By introducing a hypervisor such as vScaler (Linux) or VMWare vSphere (ESX), we can securely deliver the Roamer’s high-performance desktop capabilities to knowledge workers and power users requiring even the most resource-intensive applications but with a greater density and overall price per user session. GPU passthrough technology allows for multiple GPU’s with up to 48GB of frame buffer memory and even NVLINK unified memory support to be passed through to virtual desktop workstations sessions.FIND OUT MORE ABOUT VIRTUALISATION
