Johannesburg, South Africa, May 13th, 2019 -  Boston Limited is pleased to officially launch operations in South Africa during a series of High-Performance Computing (HPC) events hosted by the Centre for High-Performance Computing (CHPC).

The events, hosted at the University of South Africa (UNISA), Johannesburg on 13th May, and the University of Cape Town (UCT) on 15th May, will explore the current state of High-Performance Computing within academic institutions, discuss the evolution of AI from the Edge to the Datacentre and how to utilise private Cloud to enable the creation of a secure, scalable, cost-effective and flexible IT infrastructure. 

The events are supported by key partners of Boston including Supermicro®, AMD®, and Mellanox® Technologies, a leading supplier of end-to-end InfiniBand and Ethernet interconnect solutions.  

Boston will also announce remote access to its state-of-the-art Boston Labs facilities for businesses in South Africa wanting to test the latest technologies, solutions and services that Boston can offer.
