Mumbai, India (12th April, 2017) - Boston are pleased to announce its collaboration with NVIDIA to showcase products at Business Mobility Summit, an annual conference hosted by VMware India focusing on advanced graphics-accelerated virtualisation technologies. Boston and NVIDIA will showcase a graphics acceleration platform for virtual desktops and applications. The complete solutions will be displayed with live demos by solution experts who will be available all day to consult with visitors at the Summit.
The Boston Roamer 1100-0 provides an excellent balance of computing performance, server density and NVIDIA GRID remote workstation support to your IT infrastructure. This perfectly engineered system houses two Intel E5-2640 V4 processors, 64GB of DDR4 memory and 64GB SATA DOM. It also has 8TB of storage space, Dual 10Gb Ethernet connections and multiple NVIDIA M60 with GRID cards, all in a 1U form factor.
NVIDIA GRID brings the power of virtualization to the workstation market by allowing multiple users to share a powerful, feature rich GPU. This enables the user to access a full graphical and 3D accelerated VDI session through a thin client, an existing PC, tablet or even smart phone devices. Access from anywhere is not the only benefit from using this technology, by implementing GRID allows you to centralize, manage and secure user data, giving extra piece of mind for sensitive operations, in addition to reducing the energy footprint of the organization.
Visitors to the Boston stand will be able to learn from Boston and NVIDIA solution experts how this technology can enhance the workstation experience for their workforce with accelerated workflows while improving data security at the infrastructure level in the datacentre.
Manoj Nayee, Managing Director, Boston Limited says: "We are pleased to showcase our GRID-based solution at VMware Business Mobility Summit this year in alliance with NVIDIA. As Elite partners of NVIDIA, Boston have become renowned for launching the latest GPU based technology available and this virtualization solution made available on the GRID platform is no exception. We are excited to work closely with VMware to address the growing virtualization needs of customers in India."
