Boston Server & Storage Solutions - the German chapter of the global operating Boston Group - will be exhibiting at this years Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, between 7th-10th February. We are pleased to announce the launch of our new Albatros series, based on the latest generation chip from Intel®. The Albatros series is designed to boost performance and save energy to ensure success in business verticals such as; Digital Signage and IoT - Boston will even facilitate running your own code or a choice of preloaded applications. Accompanying the introduction of the new Albatros series Boston will be exhibiting the Boston ANNA Pascal, based on Supermicro® server technology, Boston's latest weapon in their machine learning armoury. The ANNA Pascal is an industry leading, latest-generation Teslabased appliance and a masterclass of server design and innovation. The streamlined architecture eliminates complex cabling and GPU pre-heat for maximum airflow, cooling and performanceper-watt. The high-density 1U server includes 2 x PCI-E Gen 3 slots for InfiniBand/OPA to enable strong RDMA performance and can support up to 4x GPUs, making it the most optimal system for scalable GPU acceleration and density.
Also on the booth Boston will be showcasing their latest GPU-based Venom workstation featuring NVIDIAs M6000 accelerator. The flagship workstation Venom 3401-7T is designed to be the ultimate workstation for all design, VFX and digital content professionals. Together with Escape Technology, a renowned technology reseller and services provider for visual effects, Boston invites visitors of ISE to test this impressive technology in Hall 14 at the Stand B150 and explore a virtual world using a Vive.
Boston will also be showcasing their KNL Boston Quattro 12256-T and Lustre* SFF (Small Form Factor) Solutions. The 2U-server featuring the latest generation Intel® Xeon Phi™ processor (codenamed Knights Landing) is designed with parallelism and vectorised workloads in mind. Featuring up to 72 powerful and efficient cores with ultra-wide vector capabilities (Intel Advanced Vector Extensions or AVX-512), the Intel® Xeon Phi™ processor raises the bar for highly parallel computing. With no dependency on the PCIe bus, the versatile processor is capable of handling a wide variety of workloads and configurations that are not supported by accelerators. Integration of 16GB of high-bandwidth memory delivers up to 490 GB/s of sustained memory bandwidth for memory-bound workloads, and available Intel® Omni-Path Fabric further reduces solution cost, power and space utilization. Boston Limited's Lustre* SFF appliance is the latest addition to Boston's Lustre* based parallel file system portfolio and provides a lower cost respectively capacity entry point for Lustre* storage systems.
